Hello there my name is Michael Duran [ changed by Deed Pol from Marinus Duran ].On Xmas Eve 2005 it was suggested by my youngest Daughter Mandy to make a permanent account of our earlier life and migration from The Netherlands to Australia in 1957. So here it is: It was in 1954 that I started working for "Indola" in the Accounts Department, Indola was a manufacturer of Hairdressing Equipment and Hair products. This firm was located in "Voorburg" and it was there that I first met Tonny who was working in the despatch department. A few weeks after starting working the whole staff of Indola went on an anual bus trip intothe country side. While travelling 2 girls [ one of them was Tonny ] were handing out small bottles of soft drinks, the bus lurched and Tonny lost her balance and landed on my lap and that's how it all started.
